Zagreb bus and camping Plitvice national park.

    My fiance and I are planning a trip to the Plitvice national park. we will be arriving by bus from zagreb and intend to stay at the Korana campsite as we like the outdoors but prefer easy access to facilities.

    Is it still possible to see the park and lakes when arriving by bus and walking, or would you recommend hiring a car?

    If you intend to stay in Korana campsite which is just a few kilometres from Plitvice national park entrance you don’t need to rent a car if you are fine with walking that distance.
    Bus stops very near the main entrance to the Park

    Also, you can always use a local taxi or bus service to get there or back.
